Celebrating Our Fundraising Success for Challengers
16 September 2025

Last week we had the privilege of visiting Challengers Farnham to present a cheque following our fundraising efforts for them at the Southern Family Law Conference. As our nominated conference charity this year, we proudly donated profits of £2,775 from the event to Challengers. In addition, we were delighted to hear that, thanks to the generosity of everyone who took part, additional contributions and partnerships that have arisen from the event, the total has now reached almost £4,500 and is continuing to grow – a fantastic achievement that will make a real difference.
Chris McIsaac, Corporate Engagement Manager at Challengers, gave an inspiring talk during the Southern Family Law Conference, moving some delegates to tears with powerful examples of the transformative impact of their work. He commented on the funds raised:
"This is a fantastic amount to raise. Without the generosity of the business community, we couldn’t support the amount of young people and their families that we currently do, so from the bottom of my heart thank you very much!”
Transforming Lives Through the Power of Play
Challengers' mission is 'to transform the lives of disabled children, young people and their families through the power of play'. During our visit, it was inspiring to hear more about the varied work Challengers does to achieve this goal, including their pre-school, holiday schemes, and their innovative 555 service, all of which provide vital support for children and young people with disabilities and special educational needs (SEN) and their families. Their services are a lifeline for children and families across the region, offering safe, inclusive, and joyful opportunities for children who need them most.

Supporting Disability Challengers: Farnham, Surrey
We are so proud that our fundraising will help extend this vital work. Meeting the team and seeing the impact first-hand reinforced just how important it is to continue supporting Challengers and the families who rely on them. Challengers are currently able to support almost 1,000 children, whilst a staggering 550 children remain on their waiting list for support. Their approach is truly bespoke, putting a team together around each individual child or young person, so everyone is able to be supported at Challengers, no matter their individual circumstances.
Challengers run their programmes from several locations across the South, including Farnham, Guildford, Winchester, Kingston and Richmond.
A huge thank you to everyone who contributed, participated, and partnered with us to make this possible. Together, we have done something truly special. We were so inspired by the visit to Challengers, Farnham, that we already have further fundraising ideas in the pipeline, so watch this space.
This work is so important and it is our pleasure to have been able to play a small part in supporting Challengers.
