Edward Cooke Family Law ranked for second year in The Times Best Law Firms
13 November 2025
We are proud to have been ranked for a second year as one of just 250 law firms in the country in The Times Best Law Firms 2026.
The Times Best Law Firms 2026 survey recognises the most highly regarded law firms as recommended by legal professionals. The list is compiled following a survey of over 3,900 solicitors and barristers across England, Wales and Scotland and details the top 250 legal firms across all sectors in England and Wales plus the top 20 firms in Scotland.
Solicitors and barristers are asked to recommend the best law firms in any of 28 categories, across business, public and private-client fields. Those with the most votes are included in The Times Best Law Firms 2026.
The research is undertaken by Independent international market research company Statista and published as a Special Report by The Times each year.
Edward Cooke commented:
"We are thrilled to once again be recognised by The Times as a leading law firm in England and Wales. As a niche family law firm established in 2018, this recognition from our peers is hugely rewarding. With the list including law firms from all sectors, this accolade positions us as one of the top firms in the UK for family law.
Our work across all aspects of family law continues to attract both direct clients and referrals from larger firms nationwide, particularly due to our expertise in mediation and other NCDR approaches. This recognition and our continued success are a testament to our dedicated, growing team. We now have nine solicitors, including five mediators and seven collaborative practitioners, all supported superbly by our support team. We have two more solicitors joining us shortly, in Chichester and Brighton.
Our focus remains on growing a team that shares our ethos of delivering modern, thoughtful and tailored family law solutions, with a focus on out-of-court resolution whenever possible.
I am incredibly proud of our team and grateful to everyone who continues to recognise and recommend our work."
