Edward Cooke Family Law shortlisted for two awards at the Family Law Awards 2026

We are delighted to have been shortlisted in two awards at the LexisNexis Family Law Awards 2026:

Family Law Firm of the Year – Regional:

This award recognises regional firms who provide consistently outstanding quality of legal service for clients and display high levels of teamwork with internal and external lawyers and/or other professionals.

As well as considering overall excellence in delivering high-quality family law services across the region, judges consider the strength and breadth of the team, including expertise in complex and high-value matters, the track record of successful outcomes and strong client satisfaction, and external nominations and testimonials.

Contribution to the profession, including thought leadership and reputation in the region, as well as a commitment to innovation, diversity, and supporting staff development, and strong training and career progression of employees are important considerations.

Excellence in Non- Court Dispute Resolution:

Judges shortlisted teams who demonstrated clear impact and an ongoing commitment to NCDR and led by example to develop standards of practice and secure best outcomes for clients and the family justice system. As well as demonstrable excellence in resolving disputes outside of court, including mediation, arbitration, or collaborative law, shortlisted firms demonstrated a strong track record of achieving fair, durable, and cost-effective outcomes for clients.

Consideration of the firm’s ability to manage complex or high-conflict cases with a constructive and solution-focused approach as well as effective collaboration with other professionals to support holistic client outcomes were important factors.

The LexisNexis Family Law Awards 2026

The LexisNexis Family Law Awards celebrate exceptional achievements, unwavering commitment to justice, and groundbreaking contributions across the family law profession. The awards will be held at the Park Plaza Westminster Bridge, London on Wednesday 18 November 2026.
