Edward Cooke Family Law sponsors Frensham Fayre

We were pleased to support the much-loved Frensham Fayre this year as Gold Sponsor. The Fayre took place on Sunday 20 June and the rain very kindly held off for most of the day, allowing everyone to enjoy the festivities to the full.

This year’s parade had a VE Day twist, with the children proudly marching from Shortfield Common dressed as pilots, soldiers, nurses, and sporting Union Jack colours. They made their way to Hollowdene Recreation Ground at 12.45pm to officially open the Fayre.

The Pimms was flowing, the wonderful Moore House Band kept spirits high with live music, and there was plenty to keep the little ones entertained with Punch & Judy shows and a bouncy assault course. We were also treated to some charming country dancing from St Mary’s School, while the local Brownies kept everyone fuelled with their much-loved tea and cake stall.

The Frensham & District Horticultural Society's rose competition added a splash of colour, showcasing stunning blooms across five categories. Alongside this, the Fayre was packed with traditional games, creative craft stalls, and a fantastic community atmosphere.

All in all, another roaring success raising vital funds for local charities and good causes. We were delighted to be involved in this wonderful community event this year for the first time and applaud all the hard work from a dedicated team of volunteers who make it all possible — we can’t wait for next year!
