Lauren Guy achieves family mediation accreditation
29 April 2026
After undergoing rigorous training, assessment and supervision through the Family Mediation Council, Lauren Guy is now an accredited family mediator.
The process of accreditation builds on the initial mediation training, with individuals developing a portfolio of work under the supervision of a Professional Practice Consultant, which is then assessed in order to achieve accreditation. Mediators are governed by a robust framework of professional standards, codes of practice and regulation to ensure quality.
Lauren commented:
"Mediation is an essential tool in my work in supporting families to resolve matters in the most amicable way possible. The processes of working towards accreditation has been hard work but very rewarding and with the guidance of my supervisor and the support of my co-workers and fellow mediators at the firm, I have continually enhanced my practice."
Our congratulations to Lauren on achieving accredited status.
Family Mediation Services
When a relationship breaks down, Family Mediation is an excellent way to resolve all of the issues that arise in a safe and neutral environment - and in a much more cost-effective way than an adversarial court process. Mediation is a robust and rigorous process. Where financial issues are discussed, in most cases the same financial information (“financial disclosure”) will be provided as in any other process, including the court process.
