Edward Cooke receives prestigious award for his work to protect his local court
29 April 2018
Family Law Week reports as Edward Cooke receives the prestigious John Cornwell award at Resolution's 30th National Conference in Bristol, for his work to protect his local court. The John Cornwell award recognises a Resolution member who has gone above and beyond in his or her commitment to Resolution's Code of Practice, to resolve issues in a non-confrontational manner and keep the interests of any children at heart.
Edward was recognised by his peers for his long battle to protect access to family justice in the local area. Since the announcement in July 2015 that Chichester Combined Court was to close, Edward has been working with MPs and others to campaign online, arrange meetings and speak out in the press to raise awareness.
