Edward Cooke Family Law launches inaugural Southern Family Law Conference

23 May 2024

We are thrilled to announce the launch of the Southern Family Law Conference, which will take place on 12 September 2024 at the beautiful Sussex County Cricket ground in Hove.

In recognition of the vital importance of ongoing learning and development in family law, and in view of its fast-changing nature, the conference will focus on “Hot topics and future trends in family law”.

This is a vital time for family law, with a deep crisis in the court system, numerous recent and proposed changes in many areas of the field and a seemingly irresistible momentum towards non-court dispute resolution.

The 12 September 2024 event, organised by Edward Cooke Family Law will not only bring together some of the brightest minds in family law to discuss, explore and learn, but will also afford delegates great networking opportunities to foster collaboration and connection - all in the pursuit of continued excellence in the constructive resolution of family law matters.

Edward Cooke commented,

“Family law continues to evolve at a dizzying pace across a wide range of subject areas. The Southern Family Law Conference brings together the very best minds from across the family law arena to shine a light on the critical recent changes and to consider likely important developments over the next 12 months.

We look forward to welcoming family lawyers from across the south of England to hear from our highly respected speakers and to enjoy a day of stimulating conversations and networking."
