21 July 2026

Edward Cooke Family Law has been proud to continue our support of the Festival of Chichester as principal sponsor of the 2026 festival, and commend the organisers for another stellar year, with a host of fabulous events in and around Chichester.

Festival of Chichester 2026

The Festival of Chichester committee organised another wonderful month-long celebration of the arts in 2026, running from 13 June to 19 July. A firm favourite in the local social and cultural calendar, the festival continues to go from strength to strength under the skilled guidance of the dedicated group of volunteers that make up the Festival of Chichester team. The acclaimed, Chichester-based Author Kate Mosse is the Festival President.

The Festival of Chichester 2026 boasted over 120 events across the city, from concerts, workshops and theatre productions, to talks, poetry and guided walks. Performers included nationally renowned artists, performers and authors, as well as local performers. Edward Cooke and his brother Matthew were part of the line up this year, performing Piano and Organ Duets for a Summer's Afternoon at St Paul's Church in Chichester, with works by Rossini, Bach, Johann Strauss II, Debussy, Dvorak and Mozart. The concert was a great success and the retiring collection raised much-needed funds for Chestnut Tree House Children's Hospice raised £915.

Edward and the firm have been long-standing supporters of the festival. Edward has performed at several events at the festival over the years, whilst 2026 marks the sixth year in which the firm has sponsored the event.

Edward commented on the continued support of the festival and its importance to the city:

"It is really important to us to continue to support this wonderful local festival. The events programme was, as ever, very impressive, offering something for everyone and showcasing national and local talent. The festival is a huge asset to Chichester and the surrounding area and the organisers are to be congratulated for all their hard work. We look forward to supporting the festival again next year!”
