Edward Cooke Family Law: Shortlisted for Family Law Community Interaction Award 2025

The team are delighted to have been recognised for their community and charitable work having been shortlisted for a national Family Law Community Interaction Award at the forthcoming LexisNexis Family Law Awards.

Speaking about the announcement, Managing Director, Edward Cooke, commented:

"We are rooted in our communities in Chichester, Brighton and Farnham and support charities, local events and organisations whenever possible, with a focus on supporting children and families wherever we can. We are proud to have supported a range of outreach projects in the UK and abroad, raising thousands of pounds to make a difference to those who need it most.

It's fantastic that our sustained efforts in this area of our work have been recognised and we are thrilled to be finalists. We are very much looking forward to the event, and to celebrating successes across the family law community."

Community and Charity Support at Edward Cooke Family Law

Our community and charity endeavours have been an important thread of firm life since we opened our doors in 2018 and indeed are a key part of our philosophy.

Our outreach projects over the last year have supported a range of important charities, including our pro-bono work for My Sister's House, who provide trauma-informed services and support for women and children impacted by domestic abuse in Chichester and Bognor Regis.

We have also proudly donated the profits raised from our first two Southern Family Law Conferences, raising over £5000 for two local charities. In 2024 we donated profits from the event to Brighton-based  Off the Fence who support homeless, women at risk and youth outreach projects in Brighton and Hove. In 2025 we supported the work of Disability Challengers, who transform the lives of disabled children, young people and their families through the power of play in Farnham and Guildford. The team are all involved in these and other community and charity events, and are passionate about giving back. You can learn more about our community work here
