Further national recognition at the Resolution Awards 2024
23 September 2024
The Resolution Awards took place on Thursday 19 September in London, celebrating outstanding contributions to the family justice sector. Huge congratulations to our Senior Associate Solicitor, Victoria Maxwell, on being Highly Commended in the Rising Star category. Founder Edward Cooke was also a finalist in the Children's Champion category.
It was a fantastic evening, providing an excellent opportunity to catch up with existing colleagues from across the family law community, as well as make new connections. Congratulations to all the finalists and winners whose ongoing contribution to family law was celebrated.
Victoria commented,
"It was a real pinch me moment to be recognised as Highly Commended in the Rising Star category as a potential leader of family justice.
Thank you so much to all of those who endorsed my application and to Edward Cooke for putting me forward for the award. Edward was also shortlisted for the Children’s Champion Award in recognition of his child centred approach to his work. I am very lucky to be part of such a great team who all support and value each other working together to try and help families.
I really never expected to even be shortlisted, and I am extremely humbled by all the kind comments. Congratulations to my fellow finalists and all the award winners!"
Resolution Awards 2024
Resolution defines the annual awards as celebrating the very best talent, innovation and pioneering practice from the wide spectrum of family justice professionals that make up Resolution’s broad church membership. This year’s finalists and winners were selected by an expert judging panel from across the sector, who deliberated on the many outstanding entries submitted.
The Resolution Awards are the only values-driven awards in the family justice profession, recognising those individuals that go above and beyond to show a commitment to upholding and championing Resolution’s Code of Practice and the positive difference Resolution members make to separating couples, their families and fellow professionals.
