Michelle is a Director, mediator and collaborative lawyer who deals with all areas of family law, with a particular specialism in matrimonial finance.

Career history
Michelle obtained a law degree-LLB (Hons) at the University of Sussex, following which she attained her Legal Practice Course at the College of Law in Guildford.
She practised as a specialist family lawyer at a leading regional firm in Hampshire for 10 years, before joining Edward Cooke Family Law in January 2019.
Areas of work
Michelle is experienced in dealing with medium- to high-net-worth matters, including cases involving family businesses, trusts and pensions assets. She also regularly advises and represents parents in relation to children issues.
Michelle qualified as a mediator in 2013 and trained as a collaborative family lawyer in 2019.

Outside work
Michelle grew up in West Sussex, where she attended Our Lady of Sion School in Worthing.
She enjoys yoga, running and gardening, as well as spending most of her spare time with her family and three children.
