We are proud to support Family Mediation Week 2026, which gets under way today. An annual campaign, run by the Family Mediation Council, Family Mediation Week provides an opportunity across family law practitioners to raise awareness of family mediation and the benefits it can bring to separating families. 

Centre for Excellence for Family Mediation

Mediation has always been at the heart of our services for couples facing divorce or separation, and our mediation practice continues to go from strength to strength. Five of our specialist family lawyers offer mediation services: Edward Cooke, Grace Parker-White, Lauren Guy, Michelle Lewis and Hannah Rogers, providing comprehensive support for families who are seeking less adversarial approaches to help resolve family matters. 

We have a reputation for excellence in mediation, and regularly receive referrals for mediation work across London, the Home Counties and nationally. Our expertise continues to deliver focused support especially for high-net-worth and complex cases, many of which may otherwise resort to more traditional methods of resolving matters, through the courts. 

The mediation team is led by founder and Managing Director, Edward Cooke, who is a highly regarded mediator. His experience has secured him national recognition, having been shortlisted for a number of awards over the years. In 2024 he was awarded Child-Inclusive Mediator of the Year at the National Mediation Awards. Edward was highly commended as Family Mediator of the Year 2024 at The British Family Law Awards, and named Family Law Partner of the Year 2023 at the Family Law Awards. The firm has received further national recognition, being named Boutique Family Law Firm of the Year 2024. 

Our Family Mediation Services

We offer a complete family mediation service, comprising MIAMs, hybrid mediation, solicitor-inclusive mediation, child-inclusive mediation and shuttle mediation. Our experience embraces matters which are highly complex, including those with significant assets and international considerations. We also offer mediation appropriately in cases where domestic abuse is a factor.  

With offices in Chichester, Brighton and Farnham, and discreet meeting spaces in central Chichester and Petersfield, as well as online mediation services, we are well placed to support families seeking to resolve matters out of court.

Meet our Mediators

We are pleased to introduce you to our mediation team, comprising five experienced specialist family law solicitors and mediators. Each of our mediators is dedicated to supporting clients to achieve the best possible outcomes and offering the highest levels of customer service. As experienced mediators and specialist family solicitors, they are adept at guiding clients through the mediation process, and drawing on other approaches, both non-court dispute resolution and court proceedings where necessary, to achieve the right outcomes for clients.
